The Exciting life of iPhone 4S

Posted on the November 4th, 2011 under Tech News by

Even though many critics had dismissed it for not having a new physical design the iPhone 4S is a giant leap from the iPhone 4. So what are the significant changes and where do they come about? Are features such as Siri enough to spend the extra money on the best mobile phone offers?

Processor

One of the largest and most obvious changes comes with the processor. The iPhone 4 is half the power of the new device thanks to the new dual core chip on the 4S. This A5 chip is 1GHz and, combined with a new GPU, allows the iPhone 4S to truly show its prowess in speed terms. This means that the new device can really show off in terms of software and particularly graphically intensive games. Our experience showed the iPhone 4S up as a device that doesn’t suffer from any lag and really manages to browse and work with ease.

iOS 5

The new operating system can be downloaded on the iPhone 4, however it is the operating system of the new device. This operating system comes with numerous innovations that takes the best from both BlackBerry and Android and places it in the Apple. This introduction of the likes of iMessages and the new drop down notifications feature are very welcome, as is the coming of Twitter integrations. There are no significant visual surprises, however the device does seem all the better for IOS 5.

iCloud

The new iCloud service really makes a difference to the way we will deal with sharing of information and also music. This feature allows us to play our iTunes library on the move and without taking up the phone’s memory. This feature is also innovative as you won’t have to spend time uploading music and can just use the TrackIDs to do so. There are obviously huge memory and time pluses with using this iCloud service.

Siri

The Siri voice control aspect of the device is obviously also a huge selling point and will really mean the iPhone 4s offers something different to the likes of Android and other devices. This can be used right across the board and so is a very exciting feature that many people are very enthralled with. Working on all apps it is also feasible as a entertainment device and comes with a number of loaded answers for silly questions.

Is the iPhone a revolutionary device? No, it is evolutionary, bringing in important upgrades such as dual core processing, a greatly improved graphics chip and Siri, a new voice recognition that learns with you. I look forward to seeing how the iPhone 4S works with iCloud, Apples cloud computing offering as well.
