Rural Broadband

It is being expected that the government is to look into the issue of the broadband connectivity in the rural areas. The rural areas still use the dial up connection to stay connected, while the rest of the world has moved on to the 4G network. Keeping this in mind the FCC has decided to expand and extend the Broadband service to these areas.

The stand that the government has taken officially so far is that while the rural areas are a priority, the whole idea of taking Broadband to these areas is going to be quite expensive. That is exactly why the FCC has decided to allocate certain funds for this mammoth project.
